Together, Global Institutional Consultant Scott Kelly and Private Wealth Manager Josh Nagel lead a Global Institutional Consulting team of seasoned professionals who have more than 100 years of combined experience serving the institutional market. Foundations, endowments and other nonprofit (including faith-based) organizations. We can provide guidance to help these clients address key institutional issues and integrate their investment process with their strategic goals and objectives. The services we offer include strategic outlook on governance issues, donor development strategies, board and trustee education, values-based investment strategies, corporate and trustee custody services, and investment policy and spending policy analysis.
Defined benefit plans. Our team offers strategies to help plan sponsors mitigate risk or improve the funding status of defined benefit plans. In addition, we offer access to a wide range of consulting services such as investment policy review/development, asset allocation study, manager search/selection, asset liability management study and performance reporting, as well as reviews of the current search for opportunities to reduce costs and improve performance.
Hospitals and health care systems. In addition to advising clients on customized investment strategies, our team provides access to Merrill Lynch resources to help hospitals and health care systems pursue institutional goals in a challenging financial environment. These may include strategies for managing revenue cycles and merger and acquisition advisory services. Through Bank of America we can access on your behalf treasury and cash management services, and services for raising capital or financing equipment.
Defined contribution plan/401(k) plan consulting services. Bank of America Merrill Lynch has designated the KN Group as one of 30 Merrill Lynch financial advisory teams that can deliver defined contribution investment consulting services to the firm’s defined contribution and 401(k) plan clients. These capabilities can include guidance for plan menu design, investment performance review and group education for employees.
